About Home Gym Reviews
Home Gym Reviews was founded in 2021 by Cooper Davis, a competitive powerlifter and CSCS-certified strength coach who was tired of reading fitness equipment reviews from people who clearly hadn't lifted a barbell in their lives. Since then, we've tested over 300 pieces of equipment, never accepted payment for a placement, and built one of the most trusted names in home gym equipment reviews.

Our Testing Facility
Our primary testing facility is a 2,400 sq ft converted warehouse space in Denver, CO. It's equipped with barbells, racks, and dumbbells from every major brand we review, three treadmills, two rowing machines, an exercise bike station, and rubber flooring throughout. Equipment is tested under real training conditions — actual training sessions, not isolated single-session tests.
Minimum testing period: 4 weeks for equipment, 30 days for apps and supplements. Many products are in continuous use for 12+ months before we publish updated reviews.
Independence policy: We purchase all products we review at retail prices. We do not accept free products, sponsored content, or payment for placement. We do not use affiliate commission language.
